1.3.2 USU10 UWB Positioning System

The USU10 UWB Positioning System consists of an Airborne Unit (USU10-A), ground base station (USU10-G), and repeater. It achieves centimeter-level 3D positioning and ranging through UWB pulse signals.

The system consists of positioning base stations (A0/A1/A2/A3), Airborne Units (T0/T1/T2...), and relay nodes (C0): base stations are fixed-deployed known coordinate anchors, completing two-way ranging with Airborne Units through UWB pulse signals; Airborne Units as positioned targets can independently calculate their own position information after synchronous interaction with multiple base stations; relay nodes summarize all base station ranging data and airborne position information through communication links, and finally output position data for all modules.

Product Description

The USU10-A UWB Airborne Unit is an ultra-wideband positioning and ranging core module mounted on UAVs and other airborne platforms. Through nanosecond-level pulse signals, it achieves three capabilities: centimeter-level 3D positioning, millisecond-level high refresh rate, and strong anti-interference. It can real-time interact with ground UWB base stations, precisely calculate its own position, distance, and attitude, providing key support for UAVs in indoor/outdoor GPS-denied positioning, precise autonomous landing, swarm formation collision avoidance, and close-range safe obstacle avoidance.
